Trouble Logging In?

There are several possible solutions if you are having trouble logging in to Whizzimo.  

If you still cannot log in after trying these fixes, click "Submit a request" in the upper-right hand corner.  

 

Solution #1 - Update the Chrome or Safari Browsers' Privacy Settings (longer term fix). This is for users trying to login on the website. If you are having trouble with the downloaded app, try these steps. 

Instructions for updating Apple's Chrome Privacy Settings:

  1. Open Chrome and click on "Chrome" in the menu bar
  2. Click on "Preferences"
  3. Click on "Privacy and Security" on the left-hand side
  4. Click on "Cookies and other site data"
  5. Make sure "Block third-party cookies" is not selected and 'Allow cookies' is selected. 

Instructions for updating Microsoft Windows Chrome Privacy Settings:

  1. Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots on the upper right-hand side. 
  2. Go to 'Settings'
  3. Select 'Privacy and Security'
  4. Click on 'Cookies and other site data'
  5. Make sure either 'Allow all cookies' or 'Block third-party cookies in Incognito' is selected

Instructions for updating Apple's Safari Privacy Settings:

  1. Open Safari and click on "Safari" in the menu bar
  2. Click on "Preferences"
  3. Click on "Privacy"
  4. Makes sure that both "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" are unchecked

Solution #2 - Download the Whizzimo Desktop Program (longer-term fix)

We have developed a downloadable program for Whizzimo users.  This program does require an internet connection, but it may run slightly faster and will not have cache issues.  You can download and install the apps at https://www.whizzimo.com/download.html

Solution #3 - Open an Incognito or Private Window (fastest fix, but temporary)

This is a possible quick, temporary fix if you are having issues logging in.  An Incognito or Private window allows you to see if you can log in without using information stored in your browser that may be corrupted.

Instructions for opening an Incognito Window in Google Chrome:

1. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right hand corner 

2. Select "New Incognito Window". 

3. See if you can log into Whizzimo in the new browser window that opens.

 

Instructions for opening a Private Window in Apple Safari:

1. Click on "File" and "New Private Window". 

2. See if you can log into Whizzimo in the new browser window that opens.

 

Solution #4- Refresh Your Browser's Cache (takes about 30 seconds)

The cache is where your web browser stores temporary information about the websites you visit.  This can sometimes get corrupted or outdated, leading to login issues.  Fortunately, there is a simple fix for this.

Instructions for resetting the cache in Google Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots on the upper right-hand side. 
  2. Go to 'Settings'
  3. Select 'Privacy and Security'
  4. Click on 'Cookies and other site data'
  5. Click 'See all cookies and site data' 
  6. Enter 'Whizzimo' on the 'Search Cookies' line 
  7. Click the "Remove All Shown" button
  8. Click "Clear All"
  9. Close and reopen Chrome
  10. Log in to Whizzimo

Instructions for resetting the cache in Apple Safari:

  1. Open Safari and click on "Safari" in the menu bar
  2. Click on "Preferences"
  3. Click on " Manage Website Data"
  4. Type in "Whizzimo"
  5. Click on "Remove All"
  6. Click on "Remove Now"
  7. Click on "Done"
  8. Close and reopen Safari
  9. Log in to Whizzimo
